Suggestionen, einer der Schlüsselbegriffe der Hypnose und Hypnotherapie, der viel für Verwirrung sorgt, und oftmals falsch verstanden wird.
Was ist eine Suggestion? Wie wird sie verwendet und wozu?
Kann eine Suggestion gegen den eigenen Willen angewandt werden und welche Suggestionen trage ich vielleicht in mir, ohne davon zu wissen?
All diesen Fragen werde ich in diesem Artikel zu den Schlüsselbegriffe der Hypnose und Hypnotherapie nachgehen.
Das englische Verb “to suggest” hilft uns zu einem ersten Verstehen über das, was eine Suggestion ist.
To suggest bedeutet nämlich nichts anderes als “etwas vorschlagen”, “anregen”, “andeuten”.
Anders als früher in der Literatur zu Schlüsselbegriffe der Hypnose behauptet, handelt es sich hier als nicht um einen “Befehl” an das Unbewusste.
Vielmehr wird das Unbewusste dazu eingeladen, mit einer neuen Idee auseinanderzusetzen.
Die moderne Hypnotherapie arbeitet immer mit einem humanistischen Menschenbild.
Was bedeutet das?
Der Kunde, Klient, der Patient, wer auch immer dort vor mir sitzt in meiner Praxis bringt mit sich ein ganzes gelebtes Leben voller Lernerfahrungen, Kreativität und Ressourcen aller Art.
Das humanistische Menschenbild besagt, dass jeder Mensch von sich aus in seine Gesundheit strebt und dafür alles Nötige in sich trägt.
In dieser Arbeit wird also niemand zu etwas gezwungen oder überredet. Ganz im Gegenteil: die eigenen Ressourcen, die Kreativität, die Lebenslust und das Streben nach Gesundheit und einem besseren Leben werden genutzt um Klienten wieder mit sich selbst zu verbinden.
Suggestionen sind also Ideen, die dem Unbewussten während einer Trance gemacht werden.
Dich nicht nur dort finden sie Verwendung.
Ich verwende auch eine Suggestion, wenn ich jemanden frage: Machst du den Abwasch jetzt gleich oder später?
Werbung arbeitet mit Suggestionen und eigentlich ist jedes Gespräch voll davon.
Die Hypnose und Hypnotherapie unterscheidet sich also eigentlich von unserer alltäglichen Kommunikation nicht in der Verwendung von Suggestionen sondern in der bewussten Verwendung.
Als einer der Schlüsselbegriffe der Hypnose und Hypnotherapie sind wir uns in der Hypnotherapie besonders bewusst, dass Suggestionen viel Macht haben.
Wir verwenden sie daher in Absprache mit dem Klienten und immer in offener Art und Weise.
Wir nutzen zum Beispiel Formulierungen wie: “Dein Unbewusstes kann auf seine eigene Art und Weise neue Wege finden, dich täglich mit genug Lebensenergie und Lebenslust zu versorgen.”
Ein klassischer “Befehl” in der Hypnose würde dagegen eher so klingen: “Ab sofort schmecken Zigaretten schlecht.”
Durch die offenen Formulierungen erreichen wir, dass das Unbewusste des Klienten zu einem starken Partner anstatt zu einem gehorsamen Hündchen wird, denn genau das brauchen wir im Grunde in unserem Leben: unsere ureigene kreative Lebensenergie, das Unbewusste, das für uns mitdenkt und arbeitet und uns wie ein Kompass durch das Leben führt.
Warum sollten wir den stärksten Partner, den wir in diesem Leben haben, unterdrücken und missbrauchen?
Viel kraftvoller, sinvoller und lebensbejahender ist es, diesen Partner, diesen tieferen Teil unserers Selbst zu erforschen und als Verbündeten und Freund kennenzulernen.
Unser Unbewusstes ist so stark, dass wir ganz simpel und einfach auch besser dran sind, wenn wir es von Anfang an als hilfreichen Freund ansehen und respektieren.
In diesem Sinne können Suggestionen auch nicht gegen unseren Willen angewandt werden. Jede Suggestionen wird von unserem Unbewussten geprüft.
Wenn sie nicht zu den eigen Vorstellungen über das eigenen Selbst passt, wird sie nicht angenommen.
Allerdings tragen wir oft sogenannte Glaubenssätze in uns, die aus unserer Kindheit stammen.
Damals waren wir unserer Umwelt noch ein ganzes Stück mehr ausgeliefert und mussten einige der kulturellen und familiären “Suggestionen” annehmen, um zu “überleben”.
Manchmal, aber nicht immer, wurden diese Suggestionen ausgesprochen.
“Hilft dir selbst sonst hilft dir keiner” zu Beispiel.
Diese Suggestionen tragen wir tief in uns und es lohnt sich, die genauer zu betrachten und sie zu hinterfragen.
Wer hat das zu mir gesagt? Möchte ich es als Realität für mich annehmen, oder doch eine andere Realität für mich als die bessere Variante annehmen?
In einer ersten Übung kannst du einfach einmal aufschreiben, welche Sätze du in deiner Kindheit oft gehört hast.
Sätze, die wie absolute Wahrheiten daherkamen über die Themen Geld, Beziehungen, das Leben, Beruf und Berufung, dich selbst.
Dann beginne sie zu hinterfragen: hast du auch schon gegenteilige oder andere Erfahrungen gemacht?
Gibt es Menschen, die das anders sehen würden?
Möchtest du diesen Glaubenssatz ändern?
Wenn ja, dann kannst du nun beginnen mit gegenteiligen Suggestionen für dich zu arbeiten.
Suche dir kurze, prägnante Sätze, die das Gegenteil von dem behaupten, was du gehört hast.
Wenn das zum Beispiel war: “Du störst!”
Dann kannst du dir sagen: “Ich bin willkommen!”
Spüre in dich hinein und was dieser Satz mit dir macht.
Du kannst nun beginnen, intensiv mit dieser neuen Suggestionen zu arbeiten.
